Mariposa Marangia

My works are created outdoors and in the studio.  I work from real life, photographs, and from pure imagination. Above all, light and mood drives the focus of  my paintings and drawings. Painting is like composing visual poetry for me. Attempting to say what words alone cannot compels me to develop new and improved skills to communicate feeling.
