Reed Weimer grew up in Colorado and helped to establish Denver's independent, contemporary art galleries in the 1980's. He and his artist wife, Chandler Romeo, have received awards from the Denver Art Museum and the Mayor's office for their development of the Navajo Arts District. He has served in many local artist residency programs over the years. Reed's work is part of many local and national collections including the Denver Art Museum, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Kirkland Museum.
